Skill Levels:
Classes are typically created by skill level as follows:
Extreme Beginner: Someone who wants to learn, but has never picked up needles, or hasn't picked 'em up in a long time.
Beginner: Can knit and purl, cast on and bind off
Advanced Beginner: Has all beginner skills, plus increases and decreases, some pattern reading
Intermediate: Has Advanced Beginner skills, plus simple chart reading, and some more advanced techniques, like yarn overs, cabling, or intarsia
Advanced: This will be complex projects for people who are confident that they know how to do most things knitting has to offer. Typically these projects will incorporate multiple skills - for example, lace work and short rows.
While we encourage all knitters to stretch their skills so that they can grow, we also ask that as a courtesy to others in a class, that registrants only sign up for classes where they have the requisite level of skill to participate.
