A few words on class policy: To reserve your space, your payment for the cost of the class is required in full. If you cannot attend, we ask that you call at least a week in advance, at which time we will make every effort to get you into another class, or if that is not possible, issue you a credit for a class at a future date. If we do not meet minimum enrollment, we will fully refund your money in whatever manner you paid. Please arrive 15 minutes before the class starts to make sure you have all your required class supplies and other notions as well. During classes, we request - for the benefit of all other attendees and teachers - that you put your phones on vibrate or better yet, turn 'em off. We like it if you'll knit nice with others, and all that other good stuff you learned in grammar school.
Join Us in Milford for the Summer Retreat
Join The Shabby Sheep for a weekend of knitting and fun in Milford, Texas. About an hour south of Dallas, Our House In Milford retreat center boasts a huge, well lit and comfortable work room, all your meals from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch, shared rooms, and a ton of fun. This is a chance to finish up some of those lingering projects or get a jump start on your holiday knitting. It's so much fun, it's sure to fill up fast.
Dates: Friday, August 13 through Sunday August 15th
Cost: $50 non-refundable deposit, $175 balance due by August 6th (price includes, lodging, meals, use of workspace and grounds, additional fees apply for extra services including massages, and optional classes)

Helmet Liners for our Troops
The lovely ladies over at Yarn Heaven in Arlington are trying to send a hand knitted helmet liner to all north Texas troops being deployed to the Middle East. Click here for a copy of the pattern. Come in and pick up some Dark Horse Rhapsody 100% merino wool yarn at the discounted price of $6.00 to support this effort.
